Friday,Sept. 10 , 7p.m.    History of Schoodac Area Farms .   MainStreet Bookends --Rebecca Courser, Executive Director of Warner Historical Society will talk about history of farms in this area.

Saturday, Sept. 11, 7p.m .    "FRESH" (movie) ; at Pillsbury Free Library . FRESH celebrates the farmers, thinkers and business people across America who are re-inventing our food system.   Each has witnessed the rapid transformation of our agriculture into an industrial model, and confronted the consequences: food contamination, environmental pollution, depletion of natural resources, and morbid obesity.   Forging healthier, sustainable alternatives, they offer a practical vision for a future of our food and our planet.

Saturday, Sept. 11, 9-1p.m.   Farmers' Market   Warner Town Hall lawn . We've expanded the number of vendors, offerings and hours at Saturdays Farmers' Market.

Sunday, Sept. 12, 1p.m.   Wild Foods   Mt Kearsarge Indian Museum --Wild foods are our original "local foods". John Brooks will lead us on a walk and talk about what wild foods we can find now that are edible.

Monday, Sept. 13 , 7p.m .   Cooking with the Uncommon Cut Warner Town Hall kitchen ---Wonder what you can do with those parts of meat that you don't normally find at the grocery store---but might have to if you are buying meat from a local farmer? Come and cook with Brandon Sussman.

Thursday, Sept. 16, 3-6:30p.m .    Farmers' Market   Warner Town Hall lawn --- Come and buy food for the week---meat, fruit, vegetables, cheese, eggs, pies and more at the expanded Warner Farmers' Market. Come and meet the farmers and buy some food for the local food pot luck on Saturday (at 5:30, town hall)!

Friday, Sept. 17 --beginning 1p.m.-- Area Farms Open Houses --Seven Area Farms will have open houses.   Come to any of the Warner Farmers' Markets for details and directions or see more info at: curiouslylocal.com

Saturday, Sept. 18 --9a.m.-1p.m.-- Farmers' Market -- Warner Town Hall lawn--Expanded market continues.

Saturday, Sept. 18 ---5:30-7p.m.--Local Foods Pot Luck -- Warner Town Hall ---Bring your dish created with local foods. Use one local food item or make the entire dish from local foods. Share your recipe if you wish. With live guitar music by local musician, Melvin Herbert.
